  • Kyra I went to Dr. Reinbold to have my wisdom teeth removed, and aside from the obvious--which can't really be avoided, given the procedure--I had no complaints. Dr. Reinbold and his assistants made sure to explain every step of the procedure to me and make sure I was as comfortable as possible, and they had a wheelchair ready at the end when it was obvious I wasn't awake enough to walk out. added 2009-11-19
  • Kyra I got my first savings account here because of the location--it's a small branch inside a Carrs store, where I had my first job--and I still use it, mostly because of the extremely convenient ATM outside that lets me make deposits 24/7. The staff seems to have improved in the last couple years, because I remember not wanting to deal with the people working there at first. added 2009-11-19
  • Kyra This branch is actually Moore & Sons Automotive now, even though the sign's essentially the same, but I've used Johnson at its Midtown location on Denali. I just got my tires changed there today, actually, and while it took a litle longer than I'd have liked, the staff were all friendly, the price was reasonable, and unlike some places, the waiting area was clean and comfortable--nice TV, plenty of chairs, and free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. added 2009-11-19

You can then do some berry-picking, which is an integral part of the Native Alaskan culture - it may just be the relaxing task needed to slow down your racing heart.

Anchorage is the starting point for a flight seeing tour. Enjoy picturesque views as you soar above Mt. McKinley, the Chugach Mountains, Harding Icefield or Prince William Sound. You can access deeply remote sites by no other means, so make it a point to include flight seeing in your to-do list.
